Camille is so excited to announce her partnership with YWCA Alaska in the celebration of “International Women’s Day 2026” a Women Gathering event, Sunday March 8th, from noon – 2:00 pm at The Nave!
Collaboration is a cornerstone of The New Design for Living, and creating this special event with YWCA Alaska, is another demonstration of the power that is unleashed when women come together for the greater good of the community. That’s the theme of this year’s International Women’s Day: “Give to Gain” that encourages a mindset of generosity and collaboration while emphasizing the power of reciprocity and support. As IWD states on their website:
“International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality because when women thrive, we all rise.”
This is the work that YWCA Alaska is doing every day to co-create this world with women like you and me! That’s why this event will benefit YWCA Alaska and the valuable and much needed programs they are creating to benefit all Alaskan women.
Catered by the women powered, AK Berry & Board, this event will bring Alaskan women and BIPOC individuals together across generations, professions, and lived experiences to celebrate each other, encourage mentorship, and create space for connection, reflection, and shared inspiration.
